Another win for AZ against VVV-Venlo
Published on 16 februari 19, 19:30ALKMAAR- On Saturday night AZ won over VVV-Venlo (3-0). In the AFAS Stadion goals were scored by Guus Til, Nils Röseler (own goal) and Mats Seuntjens. The victory over VVV is the sixth win in a row, which makes AZ still undefeated in 2019. AZ also has not received a goal against since the beginning of the year.
Mats Seuntjens who missed the away game against NAC Breda (0-3), started in the line-up.
Til opened the score in the seventh minute. Six minutes after the opening goal it was Calvin Stengs who shot the ball, via VVV-Venlo defender Röseler, behind goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall. In the 61th minute it was Seuntjens who set the final score after a good assist of Adam Maher.

In the game against VVV, there was again no goal scored behind AZ goalkeeper Marco Bizot. For the first time in the history of the club, AZ has not received any goals against in the first five Eredivisie matches in the new year.
