ALKMAAR- David Fernandez Borbalan has been appointed to referee Thursday’s Europa League game between AZ and Udinese. The Spanish official will be assisted by his compatriots Raul Cabanero Martinez, Jorge Canelo Prieto, Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez and Javier Estrada Fernandez. Ignacio Iglesias Villanueva will be the fourth official.

Borbalan took charge as assistant referee of the match between AZ and Metalist Kharkiv earlier this season. AZ v Udinese kicks off at 21:05.
