AZ internationals called up

ALKMAAR- Several AZ players have been called up for their countries for upcoming friendlies, scheduled to take place after the AZ v sc Heerenveen match on 26 February.
Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk has announced a 27-man squad for the friendly against England at Wembley on 29 February. AZ midfielder Adam Maher,18, received his first call-up to the senior squad after having represented his country at U-19 and U-21 level before. Van Marwijk will announce his final squad on Friday, February 24.
Belgium
Maarten Martens´ fine displays have not gone unnoticed: Belgium coach Georges Leekens has included the AZ playmaker in his squad for the international friendly match against Greece in Heraklion on Wednesday, February 29. The final Belgium squad will be named on Thursday, February 23.
Estonia
Ragnar Klavan has been called up by Estonia for the friendly with El Salvador. The match is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 29.
Finland
AZ captain Niklas Moisander has been named in the Finland squad. The defender will face Austria in an international friendly match in Klagenfurt on Wednesday, February 29.
Iceland
Johann Berg Gudmundsson has been called up by Iceland for the friendly match away from home against Montenegro on Wednesday, February 29.
United States of America
Jürgen Klinsmann has named Jozy Altidore in his squad for the international friendly match against Italy in Genoa on Wednesday, February 29.
Holland U-21
Giliano Wijnaldum has been included in the provisional Holland U-21 squad for the friendly against their Danish counterparts in Spakenburg on Wednesday, February 29. The final squad will be announced on 24 February.
Finland U-21
Also at U-21 level, Thomas Lam has been called up to the Finland squad for the friendly against France in Albi on Wednesday, February 29.
