Beerens replaces Boerrigter in Dutch squad

ALKMAAR- Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk has called up Roy Beerens to the squad for the international friendlies against Switzerland and Germany to replace the injured Derk Boerrigter. The AZ forward has been on top form ever since he joined AZ from sc Heerenveen.
Beerens made one appearance for the Oranje on 11 August 2010 when he played for fifteen minutes in a friendly against Ukraine.
The Netherlands play host to Switzerland at Amsterdam ArenA on Friday, November 11, with a 20.30 kick-off. They face Germany at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg four days later, with a 20:45 kick-off.
