ALKMAAR- Australia booked their place in the fourth round of their World Cup qualification campaign after a 0-1 victory over Thailand in Bangkok on Tuesday. Brett Holman, who started for the Socceroos, was replaced by Robbie Kruse, after he had headed home the winning goal 14  minutes from time.


Australia moved to 12 points atop qualifying group D, ensuring they will top the group.
