Denmark
Simon Poulsen´s Denmark, one of Netherlands group opponents in Euro 2012, suffered a 0-2 defeat against Russia, managed by Dick Advocaat, in an international friendly in Copenhagen. Poulsen came into the starting line-up and was taken off after 70 minutes.
Estonia
Ragnar Klavan scored the first goal in Estonias 0-2 win over El Salvador in Los Angeles.
Finland
AZ captain Niklas Moisander played for 77 minutes as Finland were beaten 3-1 by Austria in Klagenfurt.
Iceland
Iceland, without Johann Berg Gudmundsson, slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Montenegro in Stadion Pod Goricom.
Jozy Altidore featured for 80 minutes in the USA´s 0-1 win over Italy in Genoa. The AZ striker provided the assist for Clint Dempseys winning goal.
Sweden
Rasmus Elm played the first half in Swedens 1-3 win over Croatia in an international friendly. Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a penalty at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb that had been awarded for a foul on AZ´s midfielder. Former AZ player Pontus Wernbloom played the second half for Sweden.
Netherlands U21
Adam Maher played the full 90 minutes in Netherlands U21´s goalless draw in a Euro 2012 qualifying Group 10 match. The AZ midfielder set up a scoring chance for Lerin Duarte and was shown a yellow card. Netherlands U21 are still top of Group 10, with ten points from five games, one point above Scotland and two points above Bulgaria.
Finland U21
Also at U21 level, Finland, with Thomas Lam, slipped to a 3-1 defeat in France in an international friendly in Albi. Lam played the last 30 minutes.
