Schendelaar joins Telstar on loan
Published on 09 juni 20, 12:17ALKMAAR- Jasper Schendelaar joins Telstar on loan the upcoming season. The nineteen year old goalie of the AZ youth academy will be loaned out for one season. Schendelaar already joined his new teammates at Telstar.
The goalie, who was born in Alkmaar, played for VAVV Alcmaria Victrix and SV De Foresters at a young age, when he joined AZ in 2013. In 2016 the fifteen year old made his debut for AZ 1. He played 45 minutes in a friendly match against the Polderse Selectie. With that he became one of the youngest players ever in the first team.
Eerste Divisie
Schendelaar has been part of the first team since the 2018-2019 season. He didn't make his official first team appearance yet. The goalkeeper played regular football with Jong AZ last season. The Dutch youth international made ten appearances in the Eerste Divisie.
